Adelaide Fringe Festival

Ahhh the Fringe Festival! A place where bearded women, dressed up dwarfs and bendy circus artists gather. And when freaks come together to show their tricks, I'm never far away. To my delight, there were two artist passes laying on our kitchen table. So my lovely friend Gemma and I came up with wild and illegal plans for the night: let's pretend we are artists and ask to see other shows... for FREE! On our way to the festival we practised our mean laughter: muahahaha! But as soon as we entered The Garden Of Unearthly Delights, we ran to circus artists and took out our puppy eyes: "If you let us in at your show now, you can come and see ours!" After a couple of seconds all the artists would ask the same question: What is your show about? "That, my good friend, is TOP SECRET", we would reply with fire in our eyes. If they were not convinced, we would yell out words like FIRE HULA HOOP, MOUSTACHES and... NUDITY!!!

We got to see some amazing shows, were welcomed in the VIP area, ordered cheap drinks and danced to a funky dj in sailor outfit. For the first time in my life I spent a dollar on a fortune teller, waited in vain and walked off dissapointed as she said: "New love? Go slow!" She obviously didn't know who she was dealing with.
